Merchandising 2IC

We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our growing team as a 2IC Merchandising Manager.

We are a full service supermarket, offering customers a warm welcome and convenient supermarket shopping – all under one roof.  Our service is second to none. 

To be successful you must have a passion for providing excellent customer service, be a detail minded self starter, be able to multi-task and have the ability to follow through in a timely manner.
You will be working with a committed and motivated team who prides themselves on the quality produce and service we offer our customers here at New World.

This is a working 2IC Manager role our main duties will include:

• directing and supervising the team
• Identifying items requiring replenishment
• replenishing shelves and displays
• rostering/ timesheets in absence of manager
• Ensuring paperwork is completed on time
• Implementing health and safety and food safety
• Team training and development
• Assisting with stocktaking
• Building displays
• Helping customers
• Supporting and assisting our Merchandising Manager.
• Ensuring all Merchandising departments are maintaining appropriate store display standards

This role ideally suits an applicant who has previous grocery or retail supervisory/ managerial experience, has excellent communication skills and can "walk the talk" when leading their team.  You're a team player with high presentation standards, a "can do" attitude that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
