Store Manager – New World Waipukurau

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Store Manager to join New World Waipukurau. Joining our senior leadership team, you will be instrumental in propelling the success of our store and its people. If you’re looking for a diverse position where you can lead positive change and development, this is the role for you. We are looking for someone excited to help us drive and deliver on our store strategy.

Full-time opportunity – 1 weekend workday required.

The Role

As Store Manager you will plan, lead, communicate, organise, and control the day-to-day running of the store to achieve the highest possible standards. With a focus on driving operational excellence and promoting a collaborative team culture, you’ll lead from the front and not be afraid to get your hands dirty when needed.

• Create, drive, and ensure we deliver exceptional customer experiences every time
• Lead a team of 105 providing them with an awesome place to work and grow
• Deliver strong commercial growth
• Help plan the stores long-term strategy and then execute it on a day-today basis

• Knowledge of SAP
• Proven management experience in a retail environment across Dry Goods and Fresh Food Departments. Compliance experience also of huge benefit.
• A hands-on leader who enjoys getting involved in store operations and financials and setting departments and leaders up to succeed.
