Storeroom Assistant

Are you our next Storeroom SUPERSTAR?

You are if you have a current forklift license, with a F endorsement and have experience in the following areas:

- Unloading trucks and delivery vans

- Marking off all products that come through the back door ensuring the quantities received match the pick slips / invoices.

- Processing all perishable deliveries as per company policy.

- Placing stock appropriately in the correct locations ensuring appropriate stock rotation.

- Communicating with the Dry Goods Manager and the team and ensuring all stock required is a priority and accessible and when required – helping to get it on shelf

- Ensuring the storeroom is kept clear of rubbish and blockages at all times allowing for clear access.

- Cleaning the outside areas of the storeroom – breaking down cardboard and placing in the appropriate bin and ensuring broken pallets and other rubbish are stored or dealt with appropriately.

- Undertaking additional housekeeping as required (e.g. sweeping the floors, dealing with spillages and breakages, cleaning shelves etc.)

- Processing all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.

- Assisting in other areas of the store as required - no time to lean!

This is a FACE PACED role, and we are looking for someone who is not afraid of hard work, is reliable and honest.  These are the three core values that we hold above all else.

This role is full time and will require one day in the weekend.  Competitive hourly rate as well as staff purchasing discounts.
