We are looking for a qualified and experienced Butcher to join our awesome Butchery team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their trade, enjoys working with quality products, and wants to be part of a busy supermarket environment.

About the role

As a Qualified Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing, cutting and presenting a wide range of fresh meat products to a high standard. You will work as part of or butchery team to ensure our customers receive quality products and great service every day.

Your duties will include:

• Correctly & efficiently breaking bones and slicing and cutting all meat whilst reducing wastage   
• Producing quality cuts and value-added products
• Follow all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures
• Working efficiently to meet daily production requirements
• Assisting with stock rotation and quality control
• Providing friendly and helpful service to our customers
• Working collaboratively with the wider Butchery team

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified butcher with relevant trade experience
• Has excellent knife skills and strong product knowledge
• Takes pride in producing high-quality work
• Has a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene
• Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role
• Is reliable, punctual and has a great work ethic
• Works well as part of a team but can also work independently
• Has a positive attitude and good communication skills
• Is committed to providing excellent customer service

Friday / Saturday / Sunday / Monday 5am - 3pm
